MANAGING YOUR MIND & BODY WELLNESS

You have only one body

Exercise has so many incredible and wonderful benefits for the human body. Rather you can run a 5K or you feel your exercise is through Yoga, Pilates or even rebounding, it is super important you don’t live a stagnant lifestyle.

BENEFITS OF EXERCISE

  • Increase Energy Levels
  • Creates Physical Strength, Flexibility, and Endurance
  • Reduce your Risk of Heart Disease
  • Improve Memory
  • Improve Sleep
  • Reduce stress, anxiety, and depression

In my twenties and thirties, I was working out 5-6 times a week. I was constantly taking walks, running on the treadmill, high cardio exercises, and weight lighting. I felt amazing and unstoppable. However, things can change in the blink of an eye. Sadly, I didn’t work out for 3 years due to Chronic Lyme disease.

However, since I am now healing, I bought a yoga mat which I love. It’s vegan, biodegradable, non toxic, and organic.

As a wellness consultant, I have really been trying to focus on inner peace and even meditation. Stretching and strengthening my core has helped with my pain levels. I even incorporated Pilates too for more relaxation, as my muscles are so tense.

I also invested in a rebounder which I may only use for 10-15 minutes a few times a week, but the benefits are huge. There are many types and brands of rebounders, which some can be incredibly costly. I found this one and it does the job.

It is sturdy enough for my daughter and I to use and it even has a handrail to hold onto. It is a low-impact cardiovascular exercise that helps your body flush out toxins, bacteria, and other waste products. Amazing for waking up a sluggish lymphatic system. It even helps my balance, coordination, and overall motor skills

You only get one body; it is the temple of your soul

HOOKED ON MASSAGE

Massage is a healing therapy that everyone should incorporate into a habitual routine. The benefits of massage are endless: Massage therapy has been incorporated in my life for 25 years. I could not imagine seeing my massage therapist. As a matter of fact, I invested in an amazing massage table to have at home.

Thank goodness for at-home massages too. This table was affordable and very sturdy.

As a practicing wellness consultant, I even like to incorporate sauna therapy first to loosen my muscles. It’s a win win. If you don’t have massage incorporated in your life, you are missing out.

MASSAGE BENEFITS

For centuries, people have turned to massage as a way to:

  • Reduce Anxiety
  • Ease Muscle Tension
  • De-stress
  • Improve Overall Sleep Quality
  • Promote Greater Relaxation
  • Provide Muscle and Joint Pain Relief
  • Strengthen the Lower Back

ALIGN YOUR SPINE

Many do not realize the importance of chiropractic therapy. The nervous system controls the functions of cells, organs and tissues of the body. Any misalignment can reduce the ability of the immune system to function properly.

Realigning the spine, freeing up the immune system to fight off intruders, and simply feeling more relaxed and having lessened pain is worth a weekly or monthly visit.

Benefits

  • Improves joint mobility, function and health.
  • Loosens tight muscles
  • Decreases degeneration of the joint and connective tissues
  • Decreases the on going inflammatory process associated with subluxation.
  • Improve circulation
  • Strengthen the immune system.
  • Improve individual organ system function (heart, lung, sinuses, digestive, etc).
  • Increase energy, vitality and strength
  • Prevention ability for sickness, disease and pain.
  • Improve overall health and wellness for infants and children
  • Oh…and it DECREASES PAIN

Chiropractor visits first started for me when I was 1 week old. YES.. 1 week old. Childbirth is tough on a mom and even the child, so start your therapy sooner than later. YOU WILL NOT REGRET!
