In my twenties and thirties, I was working out 5-6 times a week. I was constantly taking walks, running on the treadmill, high cardio exercises, and weight lighting. I felt amazing and unstoppable. However, things can change in the blink of an eye. Sadly, I didn’t work out for 3 years due to Chronic Lyme disease.
However, since I am now healing, I bought a yoga mat which I love. It’s vegan, biodegradable, non toxic, and organic.
As a wellness consultant, I have really been trying to focus on inner peace and even meditation. Stretching and strengthening my core has helped with my pain levels. I even incorporated Pilates too for more relaxation, as my muscles are so tense.
I also invested in a rebounder which I may only use for 10-15 minutes a few times a week, but the benefits are huge. There are many types and brands of rebounders, which some can be incredibly costly. I found this one and it does the job.
It is sturdy enough for my daughter and I to use and it even has a handrail to hold onto. It is a low-impact cardiovascular exercise that helps your body flush out toxins, bacteria, and other waste products. Amazing for waking up a sluggish lymphatic system. It even helps my balance, coordination, and overall motor skills
