Do you have Breast Implants or are you considering Breast Implants? My recommendation is “DON’T GET THEM”
Let me explain why…
- If you get them, it is important that you replace them at least every 10 years.
- You could be trading your self esteem for a lifetime of pain and these symptoms: Joint & muscle pain, chronic fatigue, memory and concentration issues, breathing problems, sleep disturbance, heart palpitations, rashes and other skin problems, dry mouth & dry eyes, anxiety, depression, headaches, hair loss, gastrointestinal problems, weight gain, exacerbation of endocrine, autonomic, and peripheral nervous system dysfunction.
- Breast tumors and Breast cancer can not always be found with mammograms if you have Breast Implants.
My journey & testimony!
During Breast development in my teenage years , I had asymmetrical breast, and society makes us feel so self conscious about ourselves; especially at a young age. At age 18, I received my first set of saline implants. I felt fine for many years until one of the implants went into capsular contracture, was very hard & became very painful. This led to another surgery. I felt ok for many years after that surgery, but then I had a slow leak in another implant & one completely rupture! Fast forward I am on to my 4th replacement surgery. The first three surgeries were saline implants!
I told the new surgeon I didn’t want them anymore, as it was very obvious my body was rejecting something foreign. He assured me that he had the “latest and greatest” silicone gel implant and everything would be perfect. As uneasy as I felt, I went through with the 4th surgery! This time, within 2 months both implants were super hard, I couldn’t breathe, I had severe anxiety and I experienced many of the symptoms listed above. I knew something was off, but he assured me it was not the implants. I went to multiple doctors trying to find out why I was feeling so bad, but sadly I was not get any answers. I lost my job as a dental hygienist after 19 years, as this illness was debilitating to say the least. Luckily I was told about the Breast explant groups on Facebook and because of the severity of my illness, I was squeezed into emergency surgery very quickly. Getting these implants out was the best decision I ever made. Recovery was rough, but I am forever grateful to world renowned Dr Lu Jean Feng. Watch this short video of my BII journey!
If you are considering Breast implants, I encourage you to reconsider. And, if you are looking to explant, do your research. You CAN NOT choose any just surgeon to remove the implants. You must find one who:
- Believes in Breast implant illness
- Understands proper removal which is called full en bloc, muscle repair and uses drains for post op healing
- Breast explant is an art. You don’t want to look like a butchered mess. Ask for the surgeon’s before & after photos from prior clients.
- Find a surgeon who does not still place implants. If they place them, but will remove them, then they really do not believe in the illness. Look for explant only surgeons!
- Love yourself and how God made you!
Breast implant illness (BII) affects everyone differently. Breast implants are known to have numerous chemicals, toxins & heavy metals within the silicone shell (both saline and silicone implants) and in the silicone gel. These include (shortened list):
METALS:
Aluminum, Arsenic, Cadmium, Cobalt, Silver, Titanium, Thallium, Antimony, Iron, Lead, Nickel, Platinum, Tin, Zinc and more! All brands are known to have some combination of metals because heavy metals are necessary in the production of silicone.
CHEMICAL INGREDIENTS:
1. Methyl Ethyl Ketone (neurotoxin)
2. Cyclohexanone (neurotoxin)
3. Isopropyl Alcohol
4. Denatured Alcohol
5. Acetone (neurotoxin)
6. Urethane
7. Polyvinyl Chloride (neurotoxin)
8. Amine
9. Toluene (neurotoxin/carcinogen)
10. Dichloromethane (carcinogen)
11. Chloromethane
12. Ethyl Acetate (neurotoxin)
13. Silicone
14. Sodium Fluoride
15. Lead-based solder
16. Formaldehyde
17. Talcum Powder
18. Oakite (cleaning solvent)
19. Methyl 2-cyanoacryltes
20. Ethylene Oxide (carcinogen)
21. Xylene (neurotoxin)
22. Hexon
23. 2-Hexanone
24. Thixon-OSN-2
25. Stearic Acid
26. Zinc Oxide
27. Naptha (rubber solvent)
28. Phenol (neurotoxin)
29. Benzene (carcinogen/neurotoxin)
30. Lacquer Thinner
31. Epoxy Resin & Hardener
32. Printing Ink
33. Metal Cleaning Acid
34. Silica
Saline implants do not have silicone gel inside of them, but they are still a health risk because the saline has been found to harbor mold, mycotoxins, bacteria & biofilm.
When I found out about this, I was shocked. Not only are the implants a stress on your system because it is a foreign body that makes the entire body work very hard!
Of the 182 respondents, 97% report that implants negatively affect their health and 95% identify these symptoms with breast implant illness. Ninety-six percent of respondents had implants placed for cosmetic reasons and 51% had silicone implants.
Stay tuned for part 2 of my healing journey!
